The IAEE Bob Dallmeyer Educator of the Year Award is presented to IAEE members who possess outstanding creativity, a positive attitude and the ability to transfer knowledge through good communication skills and innovative teaching to promote life-long learning to exhibitions and events industry professionals. Educators include IAEE-related education speakers, industry speakers, university and college faculty, and CEM faculty members.

Eligibility Requirements:

• The nominee must be an active member of IAEE or currently employed by an IAEE member company in good standing.
• The nominee must have taught an education session within the past 12 months at any of the following:
• Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition
• Krakoff Leadership Institute o Executive Roundtable
• Previously taught for a minimum of two continuous years at a major IAEE event as listed above
• The nominee may also serve as an educator at the college/university level within the last year.
• Special Requirements for CEM Faculty to be considered include whether the nominee has taught a CEM course within the past 12 months at any of the following:
• Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting and Exhibition
• CEM Week
• Any standalone CEM courses offered during the year

Evaluation Criteria:

• Actions demonstrating or exemplifying the goals, objectives and ethics of IAEE.
• Performance demonstrates planning, development and delivery of training and education that have changed the behaviors of students.
• Method should be innovative, incorporating new technologies and mediums when applicable.

Questions you will be asked in the nomination form:

• Is the nominee currently an active IAEE member in good standing?
• Does the nominee meet the educator requirements as outlined in the award criteria?
• Detail how the nominee has advanced/is advancing the industry through his/her service as an educator.
• You will also be able to upload up to 3 files for supporting documentation and/or testimonials.
