IAEE Outstanding Marketing & Sales Award
The IAEE Outstanding Marketing & Sales Award recognizes outstanding achievement in marketing and sales activities including outstanding performance in:
- Total Event Revenue/Profit
- Advertising Revenue
- Attendance
- Sponsorship Revenue
- Exhibit Space Sales
- Customer Service
Eligibility and Rules:
- The nominee must be an active member of IAEE or currently employed by an IAEE member company in good standing.
- All nominations must include benchmark and/or statistical data over a 12- to 18-month period that clearly illustrates the results achieved.
- Nominations submitted without supporting documentation will not be eligible for consideration.
- Self-nomination is permitted for this award. However, when the nomination is submitted for an individual (rather than the team or company), the nomination must include a letter from the individual’s supervisor or from a top manager of the company confirming the supporting data is accurate.
Criteria for selection for SHOW ORGANIZERS:
- Evaluation of merit is based upon a detailed description of the steps taken to achieve defined objectives (a case study description) and will include measurable comparable metrics.
- The Committee will evaluate how effectively the described program achieved desired results.
- All nominations must include benchmark and/or statistical data over a 12- to 18-month period that clearly illustrates the results achieved by show management. Nominators are encouraged to provide as much information as is applicable regarding the candidate’s merit for this award. Recommended metrics may include, but are not limited to, increase and/or changes in:
- Total Event Revenue/Profit
- Attendance Figures
- Exhibit Space Sales Figures
- Advertising Revenue
- Sponsorship Revenue
- Comparisons to Previous Years’ Performance
Criteria for selection for SUPPLIERS:
- Nominees will be judged upon the creativity, utility, and value of the project, product, or service.
- The committee will evaluate how the defined project, product, or service meets the objective(s) its creators set out to address.
- High value will be attributed for creativity and innovation.
- All nominations must include benchmark and/or statistical data over a 12- to 18-month period that clearly illustrates the results achieved by the product and/or service. Nominators are encouraged to provide as much information as is applicable regarding the candidate’s merit for this award. Recommended metrics may include, but are not limited to:
- Return on Investment in Marketing Efforts
- Functionality
- Affordability
- Customer Service
- Sales figures
- Comparisons to Previous Year’s Performance
Questions you will be asked in the nomination form:
- Is the nominee currently an active IAEE member in good standing?
- Detail how the nominee has demonstrated outstanding achievement in marketing and sales within the exhibition industry. Benchmark and/or statistical data must be provided for the nomination to be considered for this award.
- You will also be able to upload up to 3 files for supporting documentation.
